You might still be thinking about celebrating holidays like Christmas and New Year’s Eve, but another holiday is just around the corner, and it’s never too early to fall in “love” with Valentine’s Day plans!

For many of us, the COVID-19 pandemic started to wreak havoc on everyone just after Valentine’s Day in 2020. So, why not consider really making your next Valentine’s Day something special to remember?

The good news, you can choose to get your kids involved, or you can make time for a date night with your special someone and make it more memorable than ever.

1. Start the Day With a Heart

Making heart-shaped foods for breakfast is a great way to celebrate with your whole family. Heart-shaped pancakes will always be a big hit with kids, and you can even cut up fresh strawberries into heart shapes for an extra special treat.

Because Valentine’s Day and chocolate go hand-in-hand, you can really make your breakfast over the top by letting the kids have some hot chocolate – perhaps with pink marshmallows or sprinkles?

Kids deserve to feel the love on Valentine’s Day, too. Go one step further and make my Valentine’s Day Marshmallow Pops or my Valentine’s Day Chocolate Bark– so easy! Fun themed food will wow them and be tasty for everyone.

2. Go Back to the Basics

It’s very easy to over-complicate holidays. But, you don’t necessarily need to go over the top in order for your gift to be memorable. For example, Valentine’s roses never go out of style. Send them to your loved one at work or if they’re staying home all day, and it will be a reminder in the middle of the day of just how much you love them.

Flowers and chocolates have stood the test of time for a reason when it comes to Valentine’s Day. If you are thinking about proposing on hearts day, this would be the perfect gift to give. Aside from choosing a customized brand-new engagement ring or a classy vintage engagement ring

People still love getting them, so don’t be shy about sticking with the classics, as long as you do it with a genuine heart.

3. Write Love Notes

There is no better way to make both your kids and your partner feel loved than by leaving them little love notes all over. Get creative, so they’ll find them all day. You could hide one in your child’s lunchbox, or in the back pocket of their jeans.

You could hide one for your partner in their bag or briefcase, or in their jacket pocket, or even in their car. It will give them something to look forward to all day, and will remind them constantly that you’re thinking about them.

Make sure to keep the notes simple so they can be read in just a few seconds. They are just supposed to be little reminders of your love, so a few words will do the trick.

4. Decorate the House
